All praise be to Allah who guided us to Islam, and we couldn't be guided had Allah not guided us. Indeed the only religion acceptable in the sight of Allah is Islam, and the one who seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds that he will establish them on earth. And there are glad tidings in the Qur'an and the sunnah that Islam will be victorious. 

1. Islam has not come to die!

Looking at the current situation, some have begun to say that ummah is about to end. This nation may become temporarily weak but will never die.

• If it had to wipe, it would be wiped for instance, when Muslims had to face a complete boycott from Quraish in the early days.

• If it had to die, it would die when the prophet and Abu Bakr were alone in the cave so close to the enemies that if someone would have seen their feet they would have recognized. But this is when the prophet said: 'What do you think of the two with who the third one is Allah?'

• If it had to die, it would die in the battle of Badr when huge numbers of Muslims were martyred.

• If it had to die, it would die when the polytheists gathered in tens of thousands in number to attack. This is what Allah described:: wa balagatil quloobu hanaajira 

• If it had to die, it would die when many of the arab tribes apostated after the death of the prophet. 

• It would have died when the oppressive Qarmitah and Fatimi shitte empires attacked the Muslims and killed in huge numbers.

• Had it to die, it would die when the christian crusaders attacked the Muslims.

But no! Allah said:

"It is he who sent his messenger with guidance and true religion, so that he may make it to manifest it over all religions (of the world)! And Allah is sufficient as a witness." (Fath 48:28)

Here the noble prophet and his companions and the Muslims in general have been given glad tidings and promise that He will make this religion exalted and dominant over all other religions. It happened accordingly that Islam did spread all over the world, and all other false religions continues to become weak.

• When the prophet was weak, he had his wife Khadeejah and his uncle Abu Talib as his supporter.

• When the they passed away, he had his companions who continued to support.

• When prophet died, people apostatized but Abu Bakr took over and changed the flow.

• When people were loosing fiqh, they had Imam ash-Shafiee.

• When they were loosing Sunnah, the Imam of Sunnah Ahmad ibm Hanbal arose.

• When the crusader attacked, later there came Salahuddin to take over.

There were always people who were determined to do something and they will, may Allah bless them where ever they are, and thus this nation will remain!

2. Victory is Allah's promise and decree!

Allah says:

وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And incumbent upon Us was support of the believers. [Rum 30:47]

And he says:

إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ

Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand." [Gafir 40:50]

And also:

وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ

And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors [Qasas 28:5]

And:

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ

It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it. [Tawbah 9:33]

And:

وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

And the [best] outcome is for the righteous. [Qasas 28:83]

And the prophet of Allah said:

عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( بَشِّرْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِالسَّنَاءِ وَالرِّفْعَةِ وَالدِّينِ وَالنَّصْرِ وَالتَّمْكِينِ فِي الْأَرْضِ ، فَمَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْهُمْ عَمَلَ الْآخِرَةِ لِلدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ نَصِيبٌ ) صححه الألباني في "صحيح الجامع" (2825) .

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Give this ummah the glad tidings of glory, high status, religious commitment, victory and establishment in the land. Whoever among them does a deed of the Hereafter for worldly gain will have no share of the Hereafter.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani inSaheeh al-Jaami‘ (2825).

From the deserts of Arabia to mountains to the islands of Alaska where nights and days remain for months! 

Remind us of the prophet ﷺ's prophecy:

عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيَبْلُغَنَّ هَذَا الأَمْرُ مَا بَلَغَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَلا يَتْرُكُ اللَّهُ بَيْتَ مَدَرٍ وَلا وَبَرٍ إِلا أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِعِزِّ عَزِيزٍ أَوْ بِذُلِّ ذَلِيلٍ عِزًّا يُعِزُّ اللَّهُ بِهِ الإِسْلَامَ وَذُلا يُذِلُّ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْكُفْرَ " رواه أحمد (16344) وصححه الألباني في السلسلة الصحيحة (3) .

It was narrated that Tameem al-Daari said: “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: ‘This matter (i.e., Islam) will certainly reach everywhere that night and day reach, and Allaah will not leave any house or tent [i.e., all dwellings, in towns and in the desert], but Allaah will cause this religion to enter it, and some people will be honoured because of it [by converting] and others will be humiliated because of it [for refusing to embrace it], and they will be ruled by the Muslims, an honour which Allaah will bestow on Islam and a humiliation which He will inflict on kufr (disbelief).” (Narrated by Ahmad, 16344; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 3). And also:

عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ آخِرُهُمُ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

"A section of my community will continue to fight for the right and overcome their opponents till the last of them fights with the Antichrist." [Sunan Abu Dawood]

Abu Huraira (r.a) reported that The Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said:

يَحْمِلُ هَذَا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَلَفٍ عُدُولُهُ يَنْفُونَ عَنْهُ تَحِريفَ الْغَالِينَ وَانْتِحَالَ الْمُبْطِلِينَ وَتَأْوِيلَ الْجَاهِلِينَ

"This knowledge will be carried by the trustworthy ones of every generation. They will expel from it the alteration/changes made by those going beyond bounds; the false claims of the liars and the false interpretations of the ignorant ones. 

[Related by al-Bayhaqee in Sunanul-Kubraaو Authenticated in Silsilah al-Saheeha 227 ]

Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

‏ "‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ لِهَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ عَلَى رَأْسِ كُلِّ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ مَنْ يُجَدِّدُ لَهَا دِينَهَا ‏"‏

" Allah will raise for this community at the end of every hundred years the one who will renovate its religion for it." [Sunan Abu Dawood]

This could be one individual or a group. It could be a man who would revive through knowledge, perhaps in the field of tafseer who would explain ayah rightly, or in hadith who would distinguish the authentic ones from the fabricated ones, or in fiqh teaching halal and haram, or in Jihad arising people to fight for the sake of Allah and calling to righteousness and stopping from evil.

Abu 'Inabah Al-Khawlani said that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

لا يَزَالُ اللَّهُ يَغْرِسُ فِي هَذَا الدِّينِغَرْسًا يَسْتَعْمِلُهُمْ فِي طَاعَتِهِ

"Allah will continue to plant new people in this religion and use them in His obedience." [Sunan Ibn Majah]

Islam will remain in every era and century, and the scholars, nobles and martyrs shall remain.

Narrated Anas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

‏ مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ لاَ يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَمْ آخِرُهُ

"The parable of my Ummah is that of a rain; it is not known if its beginning is better or its end." [Jami' at-Tirmidhi]

And when Islam will fall in the east, it will certainly rise in west! And this is what happened throughout the history: when the caliphate of Baghdad fell, the caliphate of Andalus rose! And when the caliphate of Andalus fell, the caliphate of Bani Uthman rose!

The deen will remain, rather it will enter every place and home.

رِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ إِلَّا أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ

They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. [Tawbah 9:32]

And this is a promise of Allah, and promise of Allah never fails to appear.

Thauban reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake. And I have seen its eastern and western ends. And the dominion of my Ummah would reach those ends which have been drawn near me and I have been granted the red and the white treasure and I begged my Lord for my Ummah that it should not be destroyed because of famine, nor be dominated by an enemy who is not amongst them to take their lives and destroy them root and branch. 

And my Lord said: Muhammad, whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it. I grant you for your Ummah that it would not be destroyed by famine and it would not be dominated by an enemy who would not be amongst it and would take their lives and destroy them root and branch even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose), but it would be from amongst them, viz. your Ummah, that some people would kill the others or imprison the others. [Saheeh Muslim]

عن تميم الداري رضي الله عنه قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : " ليبلغن هذا الأمر ما بلغ الليل والنهار ولا يترك الله بيت مدر ولا وبر إلا أدخله الله هذا الدين بعز عزيز أو بذل ذليل عزاً يعز الله به الإسلام وذلاً يذل الله به الكفر " وكان تميم الداري يقول :" قد عرفت ذلك في أهل بيتي لقد أصاب من أسلم منهم الخير والشرف والعز ولقد أصاب من كان منهم كافراً الذل والصغار والجزية .

Tameem ad-Dari (radiyallahu anh) narrated that he the messenger of Allah saying: "Allah will not leave any home except that this religion will enter it with victory or loss. Victory that would raise the banner of Islam and loss that would degrade the banner of Kufr!"

3. Islam is rising!

Folks, Islam is spreading at a great speed, and if you look at the statistics of the enemies of Allah themselves, Islam is the fastest growing religion on Earth. And in the recent years, Islam has become a more practiced religion by its followers compared to followers of all other religions.

According to the Pew Research Center, As of 2011, it is predicted that the world's Muslim population will grow twice as fast as non-Muslims over the next 20 years. By 2030, Muslims will make up more than a quarter of the global population. If current trends continue, it is predicted by the year 2100 that about 1% more of the world's population will be Muslim (35%) than Christian (34%). And Islam has become second most adhered religion in France, Britian and Spain. Furthermore, it is reported that there is now a rapid increase in mosques in the United states of America, with the number of attendees increasing.

And the number of mosques in the world are approx. 316 million. And in China, there are around 39 thousand mosques and 130 million Muslims. And in India, 300 thousand mosques and 176 million Muslims. And in Europe, people have begun to sell churches to Muslims due to heavy number of Christians not visiting it. The Holy Quran came out on top with over 3 billion prints, followed by The King James Bible with over 2.5 billion copies sold. In Germany, only in a single year 4 thousand copies of German translation were sold.

And the centers of Qur'an memorization have spread up-to an extent that there were 100 thousand huffaz who memorized the Qur'an. And an increase in return to scholars is reported, with concerns in minor and major issues.

Similarly, Islamic banking system which was mocked just few years back has now developed and increased by 700 corporations working in more than 70 countries. And the interest based banks have began to look into and study Islamic banking although these very disbelievers mock other teachings of Islam!

When Sharee’ah disappeared from the leading role in governing the world, people started to suffer from:
- Psychological crises
- Crises in manners
- Crisis in leadership
- Crises in poverty
- Crises in injustice and aggression

How many accidents and diseases have fallen due to alcohol and pig business, and due to sex during menstruation?! How many benefits are there in knowing the rulings concerning menstruation period, fasting and ablution?

How many problems happen due to unnecessary intermingling between men and women, and nudity of women? There have begun concerns for families where mothers work full time outside, and plans to come up with a salary for them breast feeding their own children!

And yet there is an increase in number of youth coming towards Islam, and so is rise of niqab (face veil) and hijab among the believing women and the call to stick to the sunnah, and repent from the way of so-called movie heroes and false stars. And there is a return of desire to identify as Muslims, and they have pride in the deen by wearing Islamic clothes, slaughtering in the halal way, and eating only halal food. Thus, Islamic websites and channels have gained more subscribers and viewership. And so is the case with Islamic centers where there is rise in admissions for learning the Islamic legislation and to attend courses, and to memorize books and learn Arabic.

O Allah, raise your religion! Raise Islam and Muslims, and degrade polytheism and polytheists.

All praise be to Allah who did not reveal religion to be abolished, rather to remain! This is a deen of fitrah (natural inclination that naturally magnets people), and this deen spreads only because it matches the safe fitrah and straightforward mind. Praise be to he who send this religion with clear proofs and arguments, as Allah says:

وَفِي الْأَرْضِ آيَاتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ

And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]

وَفِي أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

And in yourselves. Then will you not see? [ad-Dhariyat 51:20]

So the one who studies the solar system in the space, and the one who studies the babies in the womb, and all others will have certainty of the legitimacy of this religion and this Qur'an. And for the one studies comparative religion, he shall never find any true deficiency. For this deen has come with purification, forgiveness, perfect etiquette and manners. So, let the Atheists remain in delusion that God does not exists, and the secular ones to think that separating Islam from state level will in any way improve morality, and the Christians to solve the problem of trinity!

What do we have? Worship and excellence! What do they have? Alcohol and filth! That is their religion, full of lust and desires. We have purity, forgiveness, moral excellence and organised marriage contracts. What do they have?  Homosexuality, prostitution and illicit sex!

4. Allah will deal with them!

And we are certain that whatever the case be, Allah will deal with them for the slaughter, killings and attacks they do. Because Islam is victorious. Did not Allah say: 

وَإِن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا

And there is no city but that We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That has ever been in the Register inscribed." [Israa' 17:58]

Don't you know Allah's system? Don't you know that your lord is 'aleemun shadeed (strict and severe)?!

The two world wars did not occur long back. How many of the disbelievers were wiped and removed from their homes and palaces? And it is not far stretched to say that soon shall another come that will remove them out of their houses!

ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُوا قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

"And those who disbelieve do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home - until there comes the promise of Allah . Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise." [ar-Ra'd 13:31]

And they have now legislated strange homosexual marriages between men with men, and female with female. Because of rampant zina, there is so much of chaos in declaring lineage that many don't even know who their parents are. And Allah has already stated for the punishment of people of Lut:

وَمَا هِيَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٍ

"Marked from your Lord. And Allah 's punishment is not from the wrongdoers [very] far." [Hud 11:83]

And Allah also said:

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا

Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable. [Muhammad 47:10]

Is not Allah the most truthful? Does it ever happen that Allah's promise delays? So don't hurry.

And they look at the Zionists in power, but forget what Allah said about the transgressing Jews:

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكَ لَيَبْعَثَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَن يَسُومُهُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَسَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

And [mention] when your Lord declared that He would surely [continue to] send upon them until the Day of Resurrection those who would afflict them with the worst torment. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful. [al-A'raaf 7:167]

And also:

فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ

And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do. [al-Maidah 5:14]

And:

مَّلْعُونِينَ ۖ أَيْنَمَا ثُقِفُوا أُخِذُوا وَقُتِّلُوا تَقْتِيلًا

Accursed wherever they are found, [being] seized and massacred completely. [al-Ahzab 33:61]

Allah said about the Jews who transgress:

ۚ وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا ۘ وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا

[Then Allah said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed." [al-Isra 17:8]

The prophet informed: 

ما من قرية فشى فيها الزنا والربا الا احلوا بعقاب الله

“When zina (fornication, adultery) and riba (usury, interest) appear in a town, then they have brought the punishment of Allaah upon themselves.” Narrated by al-Tabaraani inal-Kabeer and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ (679).

Has there not increased riba and zina? 

روى الطبراني عن سهل بن سعد قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " سيكون في آخر الزمان خسف وقذف ومسخ إذا ظهرت المعازف والقينات واستحلت الخمر " . صحيح الجامع 3665

At-Tabaraani narrated that Sahl ibn Sa’d said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“At the end of time there will be earthquakes, falling rocks from the sky, transmutation into animals [or disfigurement, deformity], when stringed instruments and female singers will be widespread, and wine will be permitted.” (Saheeh al-Jaami’, 3665).

Wait and watch! But people hurry and say: O, nothing has happened yet. This is due to their hurry. But let me remind once again, the world wars did not occur long back. So, what do we have to do? 

وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ

And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

الَّذِينَ إِن مَّكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَمَرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ

[And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters. [al-Hajj 22:40-41]

And He also said:

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ

Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. [an-Nur 24:55]

O Allah raise the banner of Islam and Muslim! O Allah have mercy on the weak among us. O Allah we seek refuge from the fire, and ask you to let us enter Jannah with the righteous without bringing to account or inflicting punishment, o Wahhab (bestower)! End us on good deeds, and use us for the victory of your religion. O Allah rectify the Muslim state and its rulers!

5. Two steps to gain power and strength

الموضوع: اسباب القوة

1. Establishing Islam and Iman collectively

2. Allah's solution: Establishing the deen in daily life activities and coming back to Qur'an

These are explained below: 

1. Establishing Islam and Iman collectively:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي: نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ

"I have been given five things which were not given to anyone else before me. Allah made me victorious by awe (of frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey..." [Agreed upon]

The prophet's ummah has been supported by Allah who has placed fear and terror in the hearts of its enemies even if the ummah is without army or strength. But when the iman is reduced, then they won't have this ro'b (terror and fear) anymore. The proof is the following narration:

Thawban, one of the Prophet’s  servants, narrated that the Prophet said:

“Soon the nations will call one another against you, just as people call one another to eat from a platter of food.”

A man asked: “Will this be because we will be few in number, O Messenger of Allaah?”

He  replied: “No, you will be large in number, but you will be ghuthaa’a like the froth scum on the surface of a body of water, and Allaah will remove from the hearts of your enemies their fear of you and shall place in your hearts wahn.”

Those present asked: “What is wahn O Messenger of Allaah?”

He  replied: “The love of this worldly life and hatred of death.” [Sunan Abu Dawood]

Points to note is :

(الوهنن: حب الدنيا وكراهية الموت (وهما شيء واحد

It is due to wahn i.e., greediness for temporary worldly things that those Muslims will be degraded in this dunya and the akhirah.

الضعف في الاشياء : اي في معملات الدنيا والاخرة

وليقذفن الله في قلوبهم الوهن

Then, terror and fear will be removed from their hearts, and it will be transferred to our hearts. We will be terrorized and fear them even if we gain power and become the rulers. We will act puppets. And then, they will eat us like how you eat your dinner.

Remember:

Waiting for death is a proof for love of Akhirah. Allah says:

قُلْ إِن كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ عِندَ اللَّهِ خَالِصَةً مِّن دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ.... وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَاةٍ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا

Say, [O Muhammad], "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is for you alone and not the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful....And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others with Allah." [Baqarah 2:96]

ابن رجب: دل ذالك على ان اولياء الله لا يكرحون الموت

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying,

" لا يزال قلب الكبير شابا في اثنتين في حب الدنيا وطول الأمل "

"The heart of an old man remains young in two respects, i.e., his love for the world (its wealth, amusements and luxuries) and his incessant hope." [Saheeh al-Bukhari]

And the special quality in Ibraheem, Ishaq and Yaqoob which Allah praised:

إِنَّا أَخْلَصْنَاهُم بِخَالِصَةٍ ذِكْرَى الدَّارِ

"Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]." [Sa'd 38:46]

*Akhirah has to be the ultimate love of believers.*

حسن البصري: " حب الدنيا رأس كلّ خطيئة، وحبك الشيء يعمي أو يصم "

Hasan al Basri said: "Love of this world is the head of every error, and your love for something blinds and deafens you."

This means that one must run away from all sins which displease Allah. How can one displease Allah yet expect victory from Him?
'Umar said: "I command you and those with you to be more careful about sins than you are about your enemies, because I fear the sins of the army more than the enemy because Muslims are granted victory because of the disobedience of their enemies to Allaah."

Allah says: "We saved those who had forbidden evil and seized those who wronged." [7:165] This includes glad tidings to those who forbid evil that Allaah will protect them and preserve their safety from the punishment of this worldly life before that of the Hereafter.2. Allah's solution: Establishing the deen in daily life activities and coming back to Qur'an

Allah has made such a system that in different eras one nation takes over the other. One takes leadership and others follow. Some become developed in terms of technology, power etc above others. Then a time comes that this nation becomes weak and some other nation takes it over and becomes the super power. This race keeps going among various nations, and this fight always remains. But gaining status or power in this dunya is not the actual victory. I mean, gaining a temporary power is not the actual victory.

The actual victory is that a group, a people, or a nation becomes so acceptable to Allah that Allah himself decides to give power to them. Gaining temporary power is not the actual victory. And the actual 'izzah' or status is not of the dunya. There are many ways of gaining acceptability from Allah, and one of the way is what the prophet mentioned:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْفَعُ بِهَذَا الْكِتَابِ أَقْوَامًا وَيَضَعُ بِهِ آخَرِينَ 

Amir b. Wathila reported that Nafi' b. 'Abd al-Harith met 'Umar at 'Usfan and 'Umar had employed him as collector in Mecca. He (Hadrat 'Umar) said to him (Nafi'):

Whom have you appointed as collector over the people of the valley? He said: Ibn Abza. He said: Who is Ibn Abza? He said: He is one of our freed slaves. He (Hadrat 'Umar) said: So you have appointed a freed slave over them. He said: He is well versed In the Book of Allah. the Exalted and Great, and he is well versed In the commandments and injunctions (of the Shari'ah). 'Umar said: So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: By this Book, Allah would exalt '(raise) some peoples and degrade others. (Saheeh Muslim)

What is the reason? This book!

Therefore, our attitude towards dunya should be like this:

قال الله تعالى للدنيا: فمشوا في مناكبها؛ ولا تنسى نصيبك من الدنيا

"It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision." [Mulk 67:15]

"And do not forget your share of the world." [al-Qasas 28:77]

And our attitude towards akhirah should be like this:

وللآخرة: وسارعوا الى مغفرة

"And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous." [al-Imran 3:133]

Correct way is to gain people for eman and amal, and then work for power. For victory is not possible without victory of Iman!

هذه هي الاصل في هذا الموضع!! فلا يكون النصرة الا بنصرة الايمان

6. Gaining power:

The prophet and his people were weak. They worked through preaching until they gradually gained strength. They had people like Bilal (radiyallahu anh) who could easily kill one or two from among the disbelievers of Quraish, but he did not do so not did the prophet asked asked him. Rather the prophet prohibited the use of sword in the Makkan period as it was time of weakness. Use of sword at times of weakness leads to more harm than good. 

Legend and the reviver Shaikh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab

 In recent times, we find example of Shaikh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab who was harmed much in days of weakness, but nothing stopped this legend and he preached people until he got wide acceptance, even among the governors of Unayzah. People began learning the deen now, and a time came that a woman came confessing that she had committed zina, and wanted herself to be lashed. Just like what the prophet did, he (shaikh) checked whether she was not insane, or drunk or is mentally stable. It was confirmed that she was sincere. Then the ruler of Unayzah and the shaikh both applied the punishment on her.

The governor ruled only the city of Unayzah, so shaikh started 'marketing' and calling them jihad by saying: "If you stand sincerely to Allah's cause, he will grant you victory all over Najd." But he rejected it.

Later, he was exiled and moved to Diriyyah, so he preached and then called the governor of Diriyah for jihad and they accepted and got ready to give their lives for it. Later these were the people who formed the Saudi state which we admire. The people who who would take prostitutes along while on their way to Hajj now lashed those who did zina, the people who used to drink alcohol in Makkah now were busy destroying the bars, and most importantly these who were submerged into shirk were now ready to give their lives for tawheed. All this after years of patience, and most importantly this was all just few years back so why can't it happen today?

I am a slave of Allah... Don't connect me to any country,

Islam rose in Madeenah and then moved to Koofah,

It fell from Koofah and rose in Dimishq,

And it fell from there but later rose in Spain,

And then it rose in Bengal until it it moved to Istanbul,

Later it fall for long but rose in Riyadh,

To Allah I cry to let it remain... But if you leave Islam, it will rise somewhere else!
